THE FERNWEH

  • The Super 8mm film format achieved popularity in the 1960s and 1970s. It was initially used by Eastman Kodak to record family home movies. Forget Me Not Films uses the vintage cameras to capture Super 8 movie footage of couples in love, which is a special and nostalgic way to remember your wedding day. It’s a gritty, messy, and beautiful way to capture people in love. These films are genuine and unapologetically raw and bring a breath of nostalgia into your film.

  • Yes yes yes I travel! I am in Alaska half the year and Arizona the other half for school. I am pretty much ready to pack up my bags at any given second to make alll your wedding day dreams come true. 2022 I have weddings in Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, Alaska, New Mexico, and Texas!

  • Ok maybe this one isn’t a frequently asked question but… Yes! I am fluent in English and Spanish. I was in the Spanish immersion program growing up and I am so thankful to have the capability to serve my clients in this way!

  • On average wedding films end up around 7 1/2-10 minutes. Sometimes elopements can be closer to the 6 minute end.

  • Being a full time student and business owner gets crazy but I take pride in still getting my films out to clients in a reasonable amount of time. Turnaround is typically around 4 months, however I never promise an exact delivery time. I do accept expedited requests for an additional fee.

  • I do. In fact I highly encourage it. There are so many moments and parts of speeches that do not make it into the final highlight film and it is beyond worth it to have all those memories in your pocket rather than sitting unused on my hard drive. I deliver the RAW footage on a thumb drive outside of your digital gallery.

  • Heck yeah I do! Planning a wedding can get expensive really quick. I am always more than happy to accommodate to your needs.
